Code of Conduct

Inspired by the Codes of Ethics of environmental engineers and industrial hygienists, CANEGT has adopted a stringent, yet practical Code of Conduct. The Code establishes the behaviour in our workplace, business practices and relationships with third parties. It describes the values of conduct that CANEGT personnel must meet in their work and relations with others. The Code also contains guidelines that will help personnel to live-up to the firm values, and consequently preserve the firm integrity, reputation and the confidence of its clients in the services it offers.

Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Policy

Policy Statement:

CANEGT, as employer, is responsible for the occupational health and safety of its personnel and the welfare of the environment. The Company is committed to take every reasonable precaution for the protection of personnel at work and managing its activities in environmentally responsible ways. Protection of personnel from occupational injuries and the environment from the adverse impacts of hazardous agents is a major and continuing objective of the firm.

The well being of CANEGT’s personnel and of the environment is a priority whether activities are performed in our offices or in the field. CANEGT has initiated a program that ensures the firm’s occupational health, safety and environment policy is implemented as well as personnel are oriented with. Adherence to the health, safety, and environmental policies are placed high in our staff performance. The program includes the objectives, scope, legal requirements, rules and guidelines and responsibilities. The program is regularly reviewed and updated. Training and awareness sessions are periodically held to review respective records, ensure personnel adherence to the program and to keep everyone abreast with the updates. The firm is under the process of obtaining the required certifications such as that of OHS Act of Ontario, Canada and the OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.

Adherence to the the health, safety and environmental policies are a high priority for our staff.

Our company is unique. Can you support us as well?

Yes. With 35+ years in the areas of environmental engineering, industrial hygiene and management of hazardous materials (Env-IH-MAZMAT) we have worked with businesses in several sectors. Our approach to those areas is to build a custom plan for each individual client. We offer as much or as little support as you need. If you use, we have probably seen it and can support it.

What size of companies do you service?

Our current clients are small and medium-sized businesses that maintain from less than 10 to 250 employees. Requests from large-sized businesses are considered on a case-to- case basis.

What geographical area do you service?

The firm is based in London, Ontario, Canada and our current strategy is to support clients located throughout the province as well as Egypt through our local representatives. With today’s communication technology though, this will not exclude us to respond to requests from other locations in Canad and other parts of the world on a case-to-case basis.

What industries do you provide service to?

Most of the projects were executed in the past were related to metal finishing, municipalities and gas, oil and petrochemicals. Due to the nature of issues, concerns and problems related to ENV-IH-HAZMAT, our support is not industry-specific, and can be readily extended to other businesses as listed below.
